Religious relevance of location
Sandy soil where the natural vegetation is grass savannah with very few trees. The first Mennonite settlers used these soils to produce agricultural products, since they did not have machines to clear the neighbouring thornforest. In the whole area of the Central Chaco sweet water is only found in these soils.
