Very pure marble of the Pioneers Group, the metamorphic equivalent of shallow marine carbonates.

Probably 400 - 600 million years old (metamorphic age). The age of the deposition of the calcareous ooze is much higher. The former ooze was turned into marble by diagenetic and metamorphic processes.
